February 2024 update
The Steering Team has been busy during 2023 laying a strong foundation for a successful campaign.
- We secured leadership gifts (pledge commitments from all current Board Members and the Steering Team members).
- The prospectus highlighting the campaign needs was published, promotional video created and website launched.
- The Former Board committee completed their work, engaging 61 people connected to Luther Heights Bible Camp. Thank you Pastor Ken Carrothers, Doug Dockter, Cathy Winwood, Dick Chilcote, Liz Ridgway, Diane Tauscher, Pastor Paul Malek and Brenda Knudson.
- We have 20% of the campaign goal raised in pledge commitments,
$506, 820 to secure a strong foundation for campaign success.
- With Board approval, we secured a Mission Investment Fund loan to ensure the electrical lines could be buried in fall 2023.
- We did it!! Electrical lines have been buried in September 2023, which also included needed internet access updates meeting safety needs at camp and being able to meet the future needs of this ministry.
